About Us

I started black wombat after I was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. My husband bought me my first resin and molds to give me something to do while I was unable to work. I started practicing and watching videos to improve my skills. I made gifts for family and friends and they were well received. I realized that maybe I could make a little extra money if I started a website. Maybe other people might like what I do as well. It's been three long years of practicing how to pour without bubbles and how to correct mistakes and I am still learning my craft. I am cancer free but still having trouble finding work that is not physical. I hope that my work is pleasing to your eye, and that you enjoy being able to customize to fit your personal taste.
